CSM is proud to be one of the pioneer certified mold remediation company in metro St. Louis. With full time CMR certified staff, CSM is equipped to handle even the worst kinds of mold, such as Stachybotrys, also known as Black Mold, which is the most harmful to human health.

Air samples are taken as well as specimen collections to determine the mold variety.

Once the mold type is identified, the contaminated area is quarantined and remediation of the contaminated area begins.  The drywall is broken into small pieces, double-bagged “for safety” and removed. The studs are then prepared and sealed with a Fungicidal Protective Coating.  If the floor covering or under-layment is damaged it too will be treated or replaced.

When remediation is completed, CSM rechecks the area to assure that all contamination has been eliminated.  After a re-check of air quality to make certain the mold is eliminated, rebuilding of the structure begins.  Of course the room’s contents are also disinfected.
